We have introduced new designations for our standard products with roof windows from VELUX® and Roto. HPG roof window flat roof element becomes HPG normaline® and HPG roof window pitched roof element becomes HPG norma®. The new name of the roof window for snowy areas is HPG norma alpin®. The well-established HPG alpin® brand will of course continue to be used.

With this, we would like to communicate the areas of application and quality features of our roof window elements even better and more clearly.

Further improvements

For 2020, there are also some innovations in the VELUX® range. For example, the VELUX INTEGRA® GPU electric top-hung window will be available in the Thermo 2 version starting this spring.

It is also worth noting that starting this year, VELUX® roof windows will be listed in our price list only in the Thermo 2 Plus version. The Thermo 2 version remains available at the same price as Thermo 2 Plus. The Thermo 1 version will also continue to be available from us.

NRWA openings

Our proven craftsman’s exits, which you can get from us in all common sizes, can now also be supplied as NRWA openings including the matching control centers. Thus we complete our product range and consistently follow the modern standards in construction.

Where the striking old post office building stood at the Flawil train station, a new building will soon attract attention and provide a special living experience in 30 residential units. Just as striking as its predecessor, the new building captivates with its unusual pentagonal floor plan, which is not so common for a residential building.

The unusual floor plan is elegantly and consistently integrated into the staircase, so that even here you can really feel the special architectural concept. This design element extends all the way under the roof, where it is crowned by two pentagonal roof window elements.

These remarkable rooflights appear as if they were made of one piece and were implemented by HP Gasser AG in all functional and structural details. In the company’s roof window element construction division, our specialists prefabricated the two elements with precision craftsmanship, so that problem-free installation in the unusual roof structure was possible. The two pentagonal roof window elements not only complete the special look of the new building at the train station in Flawil, but at the same time fulfill all official requirements for RWA in a particularly elegant way.

When the new residents move into the total of 30 residential units shortly, they will not only be able to enjoy the special architecture of the building. The pleasant living comfort already begins in the spacious staircase, which is flooded with the friendly daylight from the two pentagonal roof window elements of HP Gasser AG.

With the pentagonal roof window elements, HP Gasser AG from Lungern proves that the family business is also capable of implementing extraordinary solutions. And this is done with the usual precision and punctuality, which stands for the professionalism that each employee brings to the company with heart and soul.

It will be a real gem and so we are already looking forward to opening our new production hall “Kristall 2020” in Lungern in a few weeks.

A few months ago there was only an excavation pit here, but now there is a multi-storey production building into which our roof window element construction will soon move. Modern, generous, bright and friendly presents itself a building, which will demonstrate the efficiency and the will for growth with the HP Gasser AG already visually.

Till then still a few weeks pass, which will be filled again and again with smaller and larger surprises. For example, we in the administration of HP Gasser AG already know what the membrane facade of our new production hall, which we created ourselves and assembled using membrane construction, will look like. For many of our employees and for most of our business partners, this is still a surprise, which we would like to unveil in time for Christmas.

Until then, we still need a few finishing touches and, of course, the installation of our new production hall, with which we will be able to implement the wishes of our business partners and customers in roof window element construction even faster and better from 2020.

This will make our new production hall a real crystal, showing like no other building at our production site in Lungern what the roof window element construction, membrane construction and carpentry of HP Gasser AG are capable of.

Although it will still take a little while until our new “Crystal 2020” will show itself in full beauty and functionality, we would like to thank already now all planners, builders and of course our own staff for their great commitment in implementing the plans for the new production hall. And already now we hope to enjoy working in an even more modern environment, which shows how we can combine the demands of our business partners and customers with the wishes of our employees.
