Hintermann’s company recently put this to the test as part of an attic renovation project for a house over 100 years old in the center of Locarno. A total of seven roof windows had to be replaced. But what is more efficient? The conventional installation or the installation of prefabricated elements? The entrepreneur from Ticino opted for the element solution from HP Gasser AG. Stefan Hintermann explains: “The additional cost of taking measurements on site and determining the details in advance is low, especially since there is no way to avoid this preliminary work anyway if you take a serious approach.” The quick installation of the prefabricated elements more than compensated for this.
